The Goal

Allure Estate aimed to prove that small-scale urban infill can deliver more than just new homes. The vision focused on turning streets into shared spaces that support social connection, walkability and a stronger sense of belonging, while fitting comfortably within an established suburb and meeting market expectations for affordability and lifestyle.

Our Role

We worked alongside the client team to shape a clear, people-focused vision and carry it through planning and design decisions. Our role was to protect the Liveable Street concept from idea to approval, ensuring the project remained practical, compliant and commercially viable without losing what made it different.

Introducing WA’s first Liveable Street meant challenging conventional expectations. We navigated approvals with the City of Canning and the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, testing design responses, addressing risk early and maintaining momentum so the project could move efficiently from concept to delivery.

The Outcome

Allure Estate has delivered a highly successful infill neighbourhood that demonstrates how streets can actively support community life. Strong buyer demand saw the development released in a single stage rather than progressively, providing certainty and confidence for the client.

For residents, the Liveable Street has created a shared environment that encourages interaction, walkability and everyday use, rather than functioning purely as a traffic corridor. The project has become a practical, built example of how thoughtful infill can strengthen established suburbs while delivering market appeal, planning certainty and long-term community value.
