The Goal
The project seeks to deliver upon government commitments to drive future industrial growth in the South West. The goal is to deliver two Structure Plans guiding land use, infrastructure, movement networks and environmental considerations within the City of Bunbury and the Shire of Dardanup.
Our Role
TBB Planning is leading the preparation of the Structure Plans, which will guide future industrial use and development. Our work builds on the existing Picton Industrial Park (Northern Precinct) structure plan and focuses on creating contemporary, fit-for-purpose planning outcomes that support government ambitions, investor certainty, industrial development and employment generation.
We’re coordinating inputs across the project team and engaging early with local governments, state agencies and key project partners. This includes testing practical approaches to lot layout, movement networks, servicing, engineering and hydrological matters, while retaining important environmental features and allowing flexibility for future industrial land supply.
Preston Industrial Park is about preparing for future industrial growth in the South West with a clear, coordinated planning framework.
The Outcome
The project is progressing towards two Structure Plans that will establish a strong planning framework for future industrial development.
