ERIC DENHOLM
9 November 2021
Eric is a skilled urban designer who has extensive experience in the land development sector, and plays a key role leading a range of TBB masterplanned and regeneration projects.
Eric loves that urban planning brings together design, policy and people, and that no two days ever look the same. With a background in both building design and planning, he brings a rare mix of creative thinking and technical know-how to every project. He helps clients shape places that support thriving, healthy communities.
He began his career as a building designer before discovering a passion for how neighbourhoods, streets and public spaces influence how people live. That early design training, complete with hand-drawn masterplans and perspectives, still shapes the way he works today. It gives him an intuitive grasp of spatial relationships and the ability to translate complex planning ideas into clear, visual concepts that clients and communities can easily understand.
Eric has spent more than 16 years working across masterplanning, street design, statutory planning and urban design throughout WA. He is known for his thoughtful, design-led approach and his commitment to improving the way streets, centres and neighbourhoods function. This includes his work championing the Healthy Streets approach across Western Australia.
Collaborative and considered, Eric works closely with developers, government and communities to unlock value, navigate approvals and deliver outcomes that make a genuine impact.
