About Joanne

Joanne (or Jo to pretty much everyone) loves turning ideas into action.

As General Manager at TBB, Jo plays a key role in helping the team plan and deliver business initiatives that create a great workplace and genuinely happy clients. With a strong background in digital, marketing and business operations, she brings a big-picture mindset and a practical, people-first approach to everything she does.

Jo joined TBB in 2021 as Principal – Business Development and Communications. Since then, her role has evolved to span marketing, operations, systems, leadership and culture, with a strong focus on continuous improvement across the business. This evolution led to her appointment as General Manager in July 2023.

With nearly 20 years’ experience across industries including professional services, manufacturing and mining services, Jo has worked hands-on across marketing, people and culture, operations, finance and strategy. She’s known for connecting the dots, building high-performing teams and creating client experiences that turn relationships into long-term partnerships.

Equal parts people-first leader and self-confessed tech nerd, Jo loves using data, systems and smart processes to find better ways of working and deliver meaningful results. She thrives in roles where she can make an impact, challenge the status quo and help teams do their best work.

Born and raised in Perth, Jo spent three years living and working in the UK before returning home in 2017. Outside of work, she’s kept busy by her young daughter and two Basenjis, who keep life entertaining.
