About Mark

Mark brings a rare blend of design talent, planning expertise and genuine warmth to every project he touches. He is known across TBB for his positivity, kindness and the way he lifts the people around him. Clients love working with him because he makes complex planning and design problems feel manageable and collaborative.

With a background that began in graphic design, Mark has always approached planning visually. He has an intuitive sense of how places come together and how good design can shape the experience of a community. Over his decades at TBB, he has helped create some of Western Australia’s most memorable new neighbourhoods, contributing ideas that are creative, practical and deeply connected to local character. His involvement in Port Coogee remains a career highlight and a project he is incredibly proud of.

Mark joined TBB in 2005 and has been a steady source of leadership ever since. He is passionate about building communities that feel welcoming and enduring, and he brings a generous, people-first approach to every design conversation. Whether he is developing a structure plan, shaping a new urban community or supporting a younger planner, Mark leads with heart and a clear commitment to leaving a positive legacy.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys trying to keep up with his sons whilst blasting through the hills on mountain bikes as often as possible.
