Rachel thrives on helping her clients turn vision into reality. With more than thirty years of experience across statutory and strategic planning, she brings a steady, solutions-focused approach to every project. Her ability to navigate complex frameworks, build relationships with key stakeholders and shape clear approval pathways has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor across Western Australia.
She joined TBB in 2007 and now leads some of the firm’s most significant land development, regional and community projects. Rachel’s background in State Government, including senior roles in regional planning and Native Title policy, gives her a deep understanding of how decisions are made and how to progress projects with confidence. Her work spans metropolitan land development, coastal planning, townsite growth and major resource projects, as well as extensive experience across the Pilbara and Kimberley regions. The Wickham townsite expansion remains one of the projects she is most proud of.
Rachel is known for her calm leadership, her strategic insight and her ability to bring diverse interests together. She contributes to the profession through a number of industry roles, including as a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, a Deputy Presiding Member on the Metro Inner South Joint Development Assessment Panel and a member of key WAPC and UDIA committees. Her focus is always on practical, balanced and implementable outcomes that set communities up for long-term success.
