Declan loves urban planning because it’s a chance to help shape communities that are accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of everyone — regardless of background or ability.

Early in his planning career, Declan brings a thoughtful, client-first approach to every project. He cares deeply about achieving the best outcomes and enjoys working through planning frameworks to understand the opportunities and constraints of each site. Declan values clear, honest communication — helping clients make sense of the process, work through challenges together, and develop practical solutions.

Declan joined TBB in 2026 after completing his Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning at Curtin University. Recent highlights include contributing to a Scheme Amendment in Henley Brook and working on projects such as Lakelands East.

Perth born and raised, Declan spends his weekends on the basketball court, keeps active at the gym, and is a passionate Fremantle Dockers supporter.
