About Aerin

Aerin is an emerging planner with a genuine enthusiasm for urban design, policy and the many ways planning can help shape more equitable cities. She is especially interested in how innovative design, collaboration and strategic thinking can come together to create places that are environmentally, economically and socially responsive.

As a Planning Assistant, Aerin brings a positive, can-do approach to every project and is always ready to support whatever a client or project team needs, big or small. She enjoys learning from the breadth of work at TBB and contributing wherever she can to help projects move forward.

Aerin joined TBB Planning in January 2026 while studying Urban and Regional Planning, specialising in environmental planning, at Curtin University. A standout experience in her journey so far was spending three months at TWC2 in Singapore, where she supported migrant workers navigating employment claims and policy processes, while also exploring how urban design, policy and broader social structures influence behaviour and wellbeing.

Growing up in Perth’s hills and attending school in Armadale and Kelmscott, Aerin brings a grounded local perspective to her work. Outside the office, her interests are always evolving — from woodworking one week to learning a new instrument the next — and she is always excited to take on a new skill.
