Rebekah is an enthusiastic emerging planner who brings curiosity, energy and a genuine passion for shaping vibrant, connected cities. She joined TBB Planning after completing our 2025 intern program and now works part-time while studying Urban and Regional Planning at Curtin University, building on a grounding in Geographical Science at the University of Western Australia.
Rebekah has gained experience through internships with private planning consultancies, volunteer work at the Perth Observatory, a study tour to NASA, and a recent study tour to Oslo, Norway. Her interests span urban design, industrial development, and community-focused projects, and she loves contributing fresh perspectives to the planning process. She is motivated by the role planning can play in fostering belonging, connection, and resilience in communities, especially how urban design can inspire creativity, curiosity, and playfulness in urban spaces.
Originally from Zimbabwe, she loves to explore in her free time, seeking adventure wherever she can find it in the bush and the city.
